"Pimp My House Update"
Time to get back into the re-construction mood.
Christmas holidays are definitely over. Hahahaha
And with that note, Amanda's room is 90% complete.
Cary, Cheryl and I gave'er last Saturday and Sunday
to re-create her bedroom into a warm, zen type atmosphere.
It worked. She loves it. :~)
Colors used: Raptor Red (walls), Noble Grey (trim) and White (ceiling).
A view as you enter the room.
A small table will be wall mounted in front of the mirrors
with 3 thin shelves extending up, bordering the sides of the mirrors.
Cheryl donated a nice area rug in front of her bed.
Cheryl also donated 2 white folding charis. Pefect style for the room.
The symbols on the wall are Amanda in Chinese.
She painted hers and Michael's free hand.
She's got her grammas artistic genes. :~)
Here's Michael's symbols, along with a mobile Cary and Cheryl donated.
A new room needs new bedding, which Amanda picked out at Walmart.
The other corner on the room with a tall warm light.
Material from Sears was used for the canopy above her bed,
the window blinds, and her closet drapes.
And what room isn't complete without a nice closet organizer.
Actually, her room was a quick transformation, which she's grateful for.
The pictures really don't do justice for the room.
You have to see it for real, to appreciate it's mood and effect.
Next Friday, I start Megan and Madi's room.
There chosen theme: "The Jungle". Should be a blast.

Wow!!! That sure was fast, it looked totally different at xmas time! Sure did pick a nice theme for her room. Great work guys!

THANXS SO MUCH TO UNCLE AND AUNTE AND MY DAD! i love my room sooooooooooo much! i can acutally STAND it now and not keep it in the dark:) its a very wicked room! thanx again for all the helP!

Again I am so impressed. Everytime I go overthere I feel like I'm in one of the Home Improvement shows. An amazing transformation. Way to go! Enjoy your Zen space Amanda!!!
