"Happy 17th Amanda"

To my oldest angel, who turned 17 today.
You're truly a beautiful young woman, with such a compassionate heart.

"1st Floor So Far"

It's been a ride folks. A fun, hard working one. Mucho gracious to Cary and Cheryl
for the solid work they've put in, and big thank you to Margot for doing my
Christmas tree and coffee table theme. Beautiful.

Number 1: Entranceway. Colors used: Morning Sun and Rich Mocha.

This bench in the entranceway Cary built. It's a solid beaut.

Simple mirrors and candles accenting the wall above the bench.

A much needed closet organizer Cary picked out at CTC.
It's lit up by a light behind the brown header above, and run off a foot switch
located in the lower right beside the brown boots.

Here's a view looking out towards the entrance. The large mirror is a nice touch.

Number 2: Kitchen. Colors used: Autumn Leaves and Noble Gray.

This is my pride so far. 3 days of ballbusting work finished off most of it.
The ceramic tile countertop was a challenge. 2 hours to set and glue the tiles.
Alot of time grouting. If you grout, use disposable gloves, trust me,
especially if your'e using black grout.I can still see some in my hands. Hahahaha
New s/s sink and facet. The cabinet glass was removed and sandblasted.

A sharp looking well lit halogen lite, creating a warm environment.

Number 3: Dining Room. Colors used: Soft Clay and Sandstone.

Youv'e seen these before, but worth a repost.

Number 4: The Living Room. Color used: Sandstone.

Our Christmas tree. Thanks again Margot. Your'e truly gifted.

This what we watch our movies on, and what I run my pc with.
I'm so spoilt having a 32" monitor. Don't feel sorry for me. Hahaha

Need to wake up the neighbours? One word: Klipsch.
They're ass kicking speakers. Just ask my bros. This one is the right rear.

A few things still needing done? Baseboard in the entranceway and kitchen area.

I also set up a wireless network in the house for my beast in the living room and Amanda's laptop.

Next on the list is Amanda's room, then the bathroom,
and then you can check off the main floor as dunbar.

2nd floor next. Oh boy.

This post wasn't possible without Megan's new digital camera,
which Santa surprised her with yesterday. Thanks kiddo, love ya.
